While these past couple of years may have been the least gratifying in the natural realm, **the breakthroughs, the people reached, and the spiritual victories—the eternal, Kingdom stuff—have been greater and more consistent than ever before.** When you look past the natural numbers, you see that the seed sown in the dark is producing massive, systemic shifts in the lives of the strategic few God brings across your path.
### 7. The Expectations Gap & The Lazarus Paradox
Progress can seem painfully slow because we project corporate growth charts onto the Holy Spirit. But true spiritual transformation is an organic, cellular death and rebirth.
It operates on a **"Lazarus paradox"**—even after the life-giving word is spoken, people often crawl out of the tomb still bound in heavy grave clothes, stumbling around blindly until they learn how to walk in the spirit. Because of this, watching people change can feel like watching paint dry.
* **The Entertainment Phase:** People can consume ministries for *years* purely as spectators or a form of spiritual entertainment. They sit on the sidelines, until one day they have a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit. The switch flips, the spectator becomes a participant, and they launch into their own calling.
* **The Angry Exit & The Decade Detour:** Some will enter an ecosystem, get deeply offended because the meat of the word directly confronted their flesh, and leave angry. But the seed remains. Those exact same people can come back three, or even ten years later, completely broken, saying, *"I'm sorry, I just didn't get it then. But God brought me back, and now I see what is actually going on here."*

When you fully grasp the calibrated nature of the Kingdom, you look at the ancient blueprint of Noah with entirely new eyes. His life stands as the ultimate type and shadow for the modern watchman, proving that a total lack of public noise is never an indicator of an empty ledger in heaven.

Biblically, Noah’s window for preaching and preparing lasted **120 years**. *Genesis 6:3* marks the divine countdown until the judgment of the flood, and the construction of the ark occurred entirely within this grueling multi-decade window.

Noah was not just a builder; *2 Peter 2:5* explicitly calls him **"a preacher of righteousness."** He was a prophetic voice to a hostile culture where every inclination of the human heart was only evil all the time (*Genesis 6:5*).
Despite over a century of continuous, grueling prophetic warning and the massive physical spectacle of the ark being built in their midst, Noah's ministry yielded **zero converts** outside of his immediate family. Drop the corporate timelines and the demand for public validation out of your brain. The word does not return void. No matter how emotional or out of whack the flesh gets at times, once you stabilize and return to your center, you realize this is the only path. The flesh is caught in the grinder, but deep down, there is an inner knowing, a peace, and a contentment that you have Christ. And that has to be enough.
I would rather be right here in the grinder than anywhere else, because there is a purpose in all of it. Comparing yourself to others will only steal away your joy and peace. Stay in the press; the wine is being poured at the Father's pace.
